Sundin down to two

Unless someone pulls a rabbit out of the hat at the last minute, Mats Sundin will be, by the end of this week, either a Vancouver Canuck or a New York Ranger. [tsn.ca]Mats lost my respect the minute he decided to sign somewhere besides Toronto. If he wanted a chance at a cup he should have let them trade him at last years deadline.

The comeback kids

I'll admit it, I am a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers. This blog is an NHL blog, not a Philadelphia Flyers blog, but last nights win was too good not to mention.

The last (and only) time the Flyers overcame the 5-1 deficit this was February 23, 1988 at Detroit, when the Flyers trailed 5-1 and ended up winning the game 11-6.

Kudos to Hossa

I am not a (big) fan of Marian Hossa, or the Detroit Red Wings, but I do respect both very much. The reasons for respect towards the Wings are quite obvious to anyone who watches hockey, but I don't think that Marian Hossa gets the recognition he deserves.
